Mezze Meals orrrr Girl Dinnerrrrr!!!!

Whatever you want to call it, lets make it, lets eat it, lets get healing! This is my solution to reducing inflammation and healing my gut. Cute is critical, for me, so I love making these meals because they’re fun, they’re aesthetically pleasing, they’re glamorous, and most of all, they’re delicious! Mezze is an assortment of different foods and in this case, its an assortment of all the key nutrients we need to sustain whole body function and health! Fill your plate with a handful of all kinds of different, healing foods, eat this for all meals. We’re changing the routine, we’re changing the old mindset on what a plate should look like. For me, mezze meals are a great way to have a little bit of everything….if you’re a super craver or foodie like me! I can never decide what I want most, so grab a platter or a bowl and just put a bit of everything in it! Live your life!

Mezze Meals, it’s a revolution, are you in?!

To ensure you’re getting all your vital vitamins and minerals, you have to create a healthy plate that consists of the right foods. My mezze meal consists of greens/salad, roasted veggies, hummus, another dip or sauce, grains, and something crunchy….always something crunchy! I am gluten free, dairy free, meat free, and I limit grains as much as I can, so you can imagine how interesting I have to make these meals! It takes research and work, but its worth it! The old meat and potatoes diet meals are no longer providing an adequate amount of nutrition we need. Why? The quality of our foods are a big issue. We have more processed foods, fillers, sugars, more inflammatory ingredients, pesticides, dangerous chemicals, alllll the gums and glutens and made up ingredients passing as food these days. IT IS NOT REAL FOOD! Read labels, do research, know what you’re putting in your body.

Eat real food. Eat fiber filled veggies, healthy proteins: lean and grass fed meats, omegas: cold water fish, eat fermented foods for probiotics that help support a healthy gut biome, whole grains, nuts and seeds. Keep it simple and keep it easy! You can eat your vitamins and minerals daily…regardless of whether you’re a vegetarian or not.


Food heals, it is medicine, it is life. And know, when you can’t get your nutrients via real foods, there are all natural, whole food supplements available to help support your health needs.
